Actually, the more I read the story, the more I tend to agree with you. At first it smelled real weird, but then as you say the police may of felt it was a different situation. They are in those trenches everyday, so they have a bit more knowledge than I do.

Could be the quantity, or maybe he had pay and owe sheets or other items indicating more than personal use. People are really dumb when it comes to incriminating themselves, I could tell so many stories...

Misleading title, misleading sentence. Drug thug shoots drug thug, probably on parole and is charged for having a gun and drugs with intent to sell. Upside, one less drug thug....maybe two if the judge puts the shooter away for good.
