The French don't understand modern, global mass communication. This reactive attempt, which I expect to be fully subsidized by the French government, will go down in flames. CNN et al. do have their agendas but they don't come about them in the arrogant way the French will. It's a telling sign of their insecurity that the channel is called 'France 24'. I expect more attention will paid to making sure that their guests use Officially Approved French and to faux-intellectual sneering at 'Anglo-Saxons' rather than to providing interesting, quality content.
There's a French code of ethics?
Hopefully, it will not be broadcast in Odorama.
