One of the factors is purchasing. Women do the majority of purchasing in the household so the commercials are targeted to them.
I think I just lost a few brain cels reading this article and thread.
If you want to start an "action plan" to have white parents teach their kids how to stare without blinking for as long as possible, just so that they could beat some asian kid in a "no blinking" contest, feel free to do so. I'm sure the asian parents are doing just as productive, like making their kids do homework.

Well frankly I see that as more picking on traditional bankers more than white folks.... The purpose of the ad is we are not your old bank.. well nothing stirrs the mental picture of banker than the old Marry Poppins dad.. stodgey white guys....
Until the last one out slams the door shut and leaves the diverse - carpet bagging socialists to their own devices.
Example: Go to Grand Bahama Island and check out the local "museums". Portraits of white englishmen abound - they set up the system years ago but fled when the radicals burned down houses and took over the island.
It looks like a futurama where the whites set up a civilization and all that remains is the remnants of their efforts. Rampant unemployment of the black population is underscored by the ultra-modern port facilities and chemical processing plants in the industrial protected - fenced off zone.
Those who would employ the local population were sent packing - but the warlords after poverty set in were smart enough to court a few high paying chemical processing operations that are illegal by federal statute in the US to to provide enough bakshish to keep the cars and caviar flowing for the elites.

Its a commercial who give a damn what a bunch of mostly white guys, who are way too light in the loafers sitting on Madison Avenue put in their paid attempts to convince you your life is meaningless without whatever elixer they are selling?
They are meaningless in the grand scheme of any meaningful human beings life. Their job is to convince people their lives are crap, and only be better if they buy what they tell them to buy..... Who gives a damn what they think or say?

I notice this all of the time. However, my take on it has been that these companies are blackmailed into putting minorities on so they don't get sued.
They know white people won't complain about it so they make whites the butt of the jokes and minorities the star. Doesn't seem to work for TV shows though. However, it could explain the current fetish for reality TV.
Currently BrightHouse Networks, our local cable company, has commercials running with no whites on it. They must have really been bent over someone's knee.
