Then I found the article about the USAF airplane accident in Russia!

Russia, or Kirghistan? We use the old Soviet base in Biskek (known as Frunze under the Soviets) for operations in the region. Here's an article, from about the right time frame, indicating a collision between a USAF KC-135 and a Kirghiz TU-154 airliner.

The TU-154 is similar to a Boeing 727.

IOW, I think this whole article is from someone who's been hitting the bong water just a little too much.

I believe you're right about the accident being in Kirghistan! Good find!

I still can't find the data on the Bear bombers. I saw it on FOX news, and in the St. Pete Times, but can't find it now.

And no - I don't hit the pipe. Never did, and I don't drink anymore either. I could be just crazy, but I wouldn't know it, would I? Stay well armed and safe, El Gato, and thanks for the find................FRegards
