The 'Mission Statement' of the Revolutionary Communist Party (From the RCP website --either rwor.org or revcom.us) ...
"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power!
We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning. And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle." : http://rwor.org/a/v20/1000-1009/1000/barw.htm

Now, ready for the one-two punch on John Conyers...?

BONUS!...Revolutionary Communist Party runs FULL-PAGE AD in the New York Times for their "World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime" movement! Incredible but absolutely true. In fact, the Slimes actually permitted a 2nd FULL-PAGE AD a few months later! http://rwor.org/a/028/who-hated-bush-ad.htm

I used to say that there was nothing in the world I hated more than a commie. Now it's place has been usurped by the islamofascists. But being the second most hateable, wretched, failed system is still pretty major. How does one achieve such a monumental stupidity, in such a free country, anyway?
Wow, these guys are truly nuts! It's fabulous!
How does the fact that a prominent politician like democrat congressman of Michigan, John Conyers Jr, who is now the CHAIRMAIN OF THE HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, actually give a speech to a well known front for the Revolutionary Communist Party go totally ignored by ALL the media and pundits, including FoxNews' Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and ALL the rest??? Shouldn't that have been the nail-in-the-coffin, not just for Conyers, but for the entire democrat party for not denouncing it??? Could you imagine what the mainstream media would have done if a prominent republican openly endorsed the neo-Nazi movement!

YES, it should have been page one on every paper, and top story on every newscast. I know why the msm ignored it. But why did Fox et al? Has Conyers declared himself a commie already, so that it's no news?
With the Democrats now controlling the House, strong pro-labor, pro-civil-rights representatives like John Conyers, Barney Frank, David Obey, Henry Waxman and Charles Rangel will chair important committees. This new Congress, and the movement that voted it in, has to hit the ground running and keep up the momentum for progressive action. Pelosi has already put forward a 10-point program including increasing the federal minimum wage and cutting prescription drug costs. Labor, womens, civil rights, peace, environmental and other grassroots progressive groups have their action lists ready.
Voters want decisive change on Iraq. That means an exit strategy to bring the troops home, beginning promptly, with start and end dates. The resignation of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld before the ink was dry on election results shows that Nov. 7 marked a defeat for the neoconservative policy of unilateral, pre-emptive war and U.S. global military rule, of which Rumsfeld was a major architect.
...
Before many others, this newspaper said Congress was not only winnable for the anti-ultra- right coalition, but a necessary step for any democratic progress in this country. We hail this victory and will continue to fight this good fight.
It is the biggest victory for socialism in the U.S. in many years, and maybe the biggest of all time.
What's worse, because of all of the other socialism that we have already taken on, their job will be all too easy even without holding the presidency since much of it can be accomplished by simply doing nothing.
I expect to see them destroy our military by simply not funding its needs.
They will undermine all of the progress in opening up our coastal shelf for oil and gas exploration by simply keeping the existing limits in place.
They will destroy our missile defense by simply not funding it.
NAIS will simply be allowed to progress.
At least they cannot get their stupid ideas on creating a U.S. version of British National Health Service without at least passing some legislation that President Bush will be able to veto. I am a bit worried though since he was happy enough to sign the folly of a "drug benefit" bill.
This doesn't begin to rise to Geo. Bush speaking at Bob Jones University during the 2000 Primaries.
/s
Remember the hell raised about that!
It SHOULD have been.
But it wouldn't have been.
The Dem voters were on robo-vote this election (2006), and it wouldn't have mattered to them in the least.
Likewise, the Republicans already knew Conyers is a defacto enemy of America.
But the Republicans were extremely demoralized on Tuesday. Due to the seemingly endless Iraq war, and to Bush supporting amnesty, to Foley etc. --- the GOP had a hard time getting that last 10-percent of voters to the polls.
Half of America has guns that at the right time will answer "Die Commie, Die".......
Thats not a threat, thats a foregone conclusion.
Is Savage or Rush talking about this ???
They need to be.....
People in America need to know what 'package' this election just bought them.
All the ultra left wing ( being gracious) kooks in the dim party.
In March 1993 the Democrats were contemplating the defense budget that called for a reduction of $10.7 billion and a cut in troop strength by 375,000. The cut was too much for Senate Armed Services chairman Sam Nunn but too little for House counterpart Ron Dellums. In the end Nunn was able to reduce the massive cuts. Unfortunately, there are no Sam Nunns left in the Democrat Party, but there are plenty of the Ron "Red" Dellums group, most specifically John Conyers.

"The People's Weekly World is also delirious with joy at the Democrats victory..."
Thanks for the great link, but let's not make the all-too-common mistake of assuming everyone out there, or even here, knows all the ins and outs of these peoples' publications and affiliations. There are far more folks who have no idea at all than there are that are familiar. Lots of newbies to all this, too, including the next generation. So, for all of these people, Peoples Weekly World is the official news rag of Communist Party, USA.
From the website of Communist Party, USA :
http://cpusa.org/article/articleview/511/1/6/
Here are some suggestions if you feel unable to be an open Communist:
1. Subscribe to our paper, the PEOPLE'S WEEKLY WORLD, if you don't already.
2. Subscribe to Political Affairs, our monthly, theoretical journal.
3. Let us put you in contact with the closest Party organization, so that you have some contact with a real person and can have political discussions with them. CONTACT THE PARTY
4. Attend club meetings as a guest, even for a protracted period of time, so that you function as a member without actually joining.
5. Join the Party, but limit to close trusted friends who you tell about your membership.
6. Of course, we feel the best option is for supporters to join and to function as openly as possible. JOIN THE PARTY. While there are still anti-communist laws on the books, they have not been enforced in a while, and most provisions have been declared unconstitutional. However, Bush and Ashcroft are moving in a significantly more repressive direction. We think the best defense against this is building a strong mass movement against the policies of the ultra-right, and building a stronger Communist Party. Still, each person has to decide for him or herself what level of activity fits the specific circumstances, and we dont presume to judge that for each individual from afar.
Even without joining, you can become more involved in supporting the Party and its work, help build mass struggles against the ultra-right, and be an advocate for working class alternatives.
