A group of gay Palestinian Americans canceled a planned pride march in East Jerusalem on Friday after one of them was beaten unconscious by a local man who said he was from the Waqf Muslim religious authority.

I don't know what these goobers were thinking. Don't they know what the Muslim attitude is toward 'out' homosexuals? Were they thinking that if they went there with 'peaceful intentions' that they'd be welcomed with open arms? Guess they got a sobering lesson from the "School of Hard Knocks", in more ways than one.

What is not mentioned, of course, is that the militant Homosexuals were not happy with their rally in the stadium and tried to stage a march without a city permit. He was not arrested for his views, his tshirt or his sexual preferences, he was arrested for breaking the law.
