Major American cities, which generally are governed by liberal Democrats and lots of gun control laws, have higher annual murder rates than the troop casualty rates in Iraq.

Ridiculous and obscene comparison. Soldiers who die in combat do so in my name. Those murdered at the hands of criminals do not.

The point I am making there is simply a way to combat the BS spouted every single day in the press. I think it is an excellent way to combat that sort of nonsense, and is a good way to put it into a perspective that people can give thought to.
