-----
It will take some time, but people will realize how important this guy is to the Repubs, and this country's future. Very few have his experience, insight, conservatism (not RINO), patriotism, and ABILITY TO FIGHT.
Mark my words, he will look the MSM in eye and tell them where to go --- unlike the present group of Repub cowards who live in stark fear of being "labeled" by the MSM ---
It is time for strong fighting --- no more wimps, do-nothings, elitist agendas, no more.

He can't run the NRC and run for president at the same time.
To: zarf
Given the results this week, Newt will run. Who better to refresh the Contract with America? He's not mentioned much with McCain or Guliani, or Mitt, but Newt will run. As for old baggage, as Rush said, it comes with EVERY Republican, no matter how squeaky clean they are. Go Newt! You and Romney, for my money.

I LOVE Newt!!!! BUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTT, there is the small matter of being on your 3rd wife and cheating on the first two. The MSM will point out that even Bill and Hillary have only been married once. (Barf)

Newt is a great advisor and idea guy. Too many negatives as a public figure. He should stick to what he does best ... maneuver behind the scene.

You would think, as smart as he is, that he would know that. Oh, how I wish he were the head of the RNC!!
Newt, if you're out there, we need you buddy where your talents can really be put to use!!!

I'd love Newt to run in '08, but if he doesn't, I want Rush Limbaugh to run. He would keep the Republicans honest during the primaries, and the thought of Rush debating Hillary makes me smile a mile wide.

I would like to see Newt run in 08 as well, just to teach the other people "what" conservatism "is" and what it "isn't" First, Romney, McCain all may need some primers from Newt.
Newt might be able to change the terms of the debate, and the scope of the debate. From "we need nationalized health care" to "How we can balance the budget, fight the war on terror and make sure most children who graduate High School can read"
