For crying out loud, not Lott! He's an idiot, and doesn't have the guts to stand up to the Dem's. Please not him.

Now what was wrong with Lot. Seems like we have been there done that before.
To: tennmountainman
I think Lamar Alexander is supposed to be just as bad if not worse.
To: tennmountainman
Alexander says he'll be whipGeez, now I have a picture in my mind of Lamar in a dominatrix outfit!
To: beaversmom

Have we still not learned our lesson about these guys.
I'd like to see some young blood come in and replace these old "deal makers".

The house will elect great leadership. Its the Senate that got us into this problem and will continue to be a cancer to concervatives.
We must look for two qualities in a leader. Uncompromising conservatism and a tough personality to stand up to the terroristic tactics of the Dems. McConnel is lacking the tough personality and Alexander is lacking both. I believe that he voted for amnesty. John Kyle and Tom Coburn would be better.
To: tennmountainman
The Republicans have shown no ability to act as or use either the majority or minority Whip positions. I have never seen renegade senators (i.e.; McCain, Chaffee, or Spectre) stripped of committee positions or chairmanships, reassigned to least favorable office space and accommodations, or had their operating budgets curtailed. Whoever it is won't make a bit of difference until the leadership grows a pair.
To: tennmountainman
Lott, the king of pork. Alexander will just bore everyone to death. This is the best we can do?
