I was a candidate this year. I ran in a district where I had been Chairman of The Republican Party the previous year. As Chairman, I had led the efforts in our county to elect the first Republicans to defeat D incumbents in 150 years. This year I ran on a platform of Tax Cuts. People responded "Yea right." I had no money and very little help. I got spanked 57 to 43.
