I voted R on Tuesday, and I still feel like a chump. That fence was never going to be built anyway, and, in our heart of hearts, we all know it. It was never funded. It was a last-minute bone to try and get the base to turn out for the election. Even if the Republicans had held both Houses, the fence still wasn't going to be built.

Well, at least they can say they taught the GOP a lesson for not being pure enough. Of course, in the process the damage to the country is considerable. But they can sit back smug and happy (as their taxes go up and the danger to our troops increases).
