Conservatives lost because they deserved to. They failed to live up to the high standards of personal behavior they preach about. And that's what brought them down.

Bullshit. Conservatives didn't lose, Republicans did. As well they should have. When they figure this out, maybe it will finally turn out right.

I'm getting tired of the missed assertions as to why this loss occurred. Nobody is looking far enough back into the media cycles to get the real answewr. Conservatism lost in 2006 because of many things, not the least of which was the failure of conservatives to nail the bastards insulting the President as stupid, a liar, etc. George Bush may not be the greatest president ever, but he sure as hell isn't stupid and democrats making thatr smear ought to be nailed as the bastards socialist they are, and he didn't lie us into a war so bastards like Russert and Matthews should be nailed in their hypocritical propagandist asses every time they make that lie public (as Matthews did repeatedly this night on his propaganda show). Conservatives cannot slink away without fighting when lies are spewed and expect the propagandist in media to stop being such blatant democrat operatives pushing their leftist crap daily. Ignorant voters had their ignorance reinforced with embraces of partial birth murder enablers and embryonic cannibalism. Why? Because we conservatives didn't fight when lies and insults were thrown repeatedly. Ignorant voters embraced cannibalizing embryo-aged human beings and partial birth killer enablers. Are we outraged? No, just stunned that our inaction had such consequences! Why did conservatism lose in 2006 (if it did, in fact)? Because we the people are too lazy to be involved where evil is rising in our midst.
