OOOOOH!! Now, that's just wrong!
I managed a Dairy Queen in West Texas in the late 80s. We had a Mexican (Legal - I checked her Green Card each year) cook who would occasionally make us some chorizo y papitas breakfast burritos. That's one of the few things I miss about working at that place.
Do I need to bring my own cup and plate?

I'm posting a fly-by from work this morning to say Happy Veteran's Day to all brothers and sisters in arms and a very happy birthday and Semper Fi to the Jarheads.
I don't have time to juke it up this weekend because MsDrumbo and I just closed on our house purchase yesterday and after work today I'll be tinkering, painting, skim coating, etc. at the new place (and spending gobs of money). I did wanna stop by and share our blessings with our FReeper FRiends.

Your post and your FReeper page have made me misty eyed. I grew up in Kermit and loved following the exploits of the Panthers. I'm just thankful that the Yellow Jackets never had to face them. The closest we ever had to get was the annual tangle with the Ector Eagles.
The picture of the windmills on your page. Is that along the caprock at Notrees? The last time I was back there the talk of windmills on the caprock was just heating up.
My wife and kids thought I was nuts when I stopped at the crest on Hwy 302 at 10 at night and started naming the little towns in the distance. Then, when we got to the bottom where there was absolutely no earth light and I forced them out of the van they really thought I had come unhinged. That is until I told them to look up. There are few other places in this country where it is still dark enough to see the spiral of the galaxy like you can in that part of the country. I miss my home. Thanks for taking me back.
