Michael Savage gets a lesson in politics 101
Posted on 11/10/2006 3:00:44 PM PST by RussP
I actually liked Michael Savage at one time, but now I am embarrassed for him every time I hear him (which is not often). The guy has become a clueless loon.
To show off his "independence," he refused to endorse Republicans. Fantastic, Michael! Then the day after the election it finally occurred to him that a Democratic Congress is now empowered to work with Bush on his amnesty program for illegal immigrants!
What kind of moron could not figure that out *before* the election?
Thanks a lot, Michael, for sitting on your hands and doing nothing when it counted most to help stop illegal immigration. You're a true patriot, but not a very bright one!
Michael calls Rush Limbaugh a shill for the Republicans, but Rush figured out *before* the election that (1) Bush is not on the ballot, and (2) if the Republicans don't win Congress, the Democrats will. In other words, Rush passed politics 101 a long time ago, but Michael never did.
I happened to be listening yesterday when a caller tried to point this out to him. How did Michael reply? He couldn't argue rationally, so he resorted to his usual 3rd-grade-level name calling and telling the guy to change his underwear. I kid you not.
Ironically, Michael wrote a book calling liberalism a mental illness, but Michael clearly has a mental illness of his own. He has become some kind of deranged, angry clown.

Where do vanities belong?
I'm serious.
I've posted here for quite awhile, answering other people's articles, but I only posted one of my own, on the religion board, way, way back.
But I'm ready to post my first-even topical vanity, something duly provocative like "Republican Socialism", and advocate FOR a reasonable Republican conservative view of the welfare state.
Partly to stir the pot, yes, but also because we need rational debate - real, rational debate - to be able to put together a winning strategy.
I see pletnty of vanities, and I see plenty of heat and anger about them.
So, where do vanities belong, if anywhere?
Serious question.
Where can I post one that will not make people angry by its mere existence (content notwithstanding)?

CNN is the American Al-Jazeera, and his "stay the coarse" saying was all over Fox News and used by "conservatives" in talk radio day after day.

Start working to turn your state RED, like Tennessee and maybe you will gain some credibility in what you have to say.

I distanced myself from this buffoon a long time ago. Whatever he says he is for today, six months from now he will be against it.

That about sums him up. I gave up listening to him a while ago. He helps the Dems more than he helps us. I can't imagine his shrill act would win over many undecided voters. Heck i'd imagine he'd drive folks to the left. I have never regarded Michael Savage as anything but an antichristian fool who neither realizes that he is fool nor that he is antichristian.

'm not worried yet, I think the Dems are going to raise taxes and make catestrophically bad choices on the War, entitlements, spending, and general management of the Country, and the backlash in 2008 will be severe.
NOPE
Americans have been dumb for ages and I mean ages
Any screw ups caused by congress gets blamed on the president in a presidential election year and maybe rightly so in cases where he doesn't use the VETO
However in some cases where congress won't pass his programs etc he still gets blamed and the MSM will see to it

That means absolutely nothing here. We are talking about a dipshit who donates to liberal moonbats, not what my state did (misguided as it is) in this past election.
I know in prior dealings with you that it's hard to stay on subject, but for pete's sake, please try. It isn't hard.

And Rupert Murdoch's paper endorsed Hillary. Down with Fox News? I have been criticizing Rupert Murdoch now for two weeks, for his need to be in the Upper West Side NYC clique.
