You know, I've been covering the news in America for 30 years and this Kansas situation is the worst thing I've ever seen.

A doctor named George Tiller is operating a late-term abortion mill that will destroy a viable baby up until birthing for a mental health exception, which much of the time is an episode of simple depression experienced by the mother.

Wednesday night on this broadcast, a pro-life advocate told us that Tiller injects poison into the baby's heart while it is still in the womb, then removes the dead baby and cremates it. We have not been able to confirm the cremation assertion, but a letter purported to be from Tiller himself describes the injection.

PRO-LIFE IDEA:

Portable ultrasound is getting reasonably inexpensive. It is now practical for heroes on the front line pleading with people before they enter an abortion clinic to execute an irreversible horrible act to offer to provide free live pictures of their baby. A noble goal would be to equip the heroes pleading with people in front of abortion clinics with portable ultrasound and the heroes serving valiantly in our local CFC centers. Free live pictures of ones own baby before walking into an abortion clinic would be powerful. It is inexpensive enough to fit into many crisis pregnancy center budgets. As technology becomes cheaper and smaller, it is practical to actually have them in front of clinics (have to avoid loitering laws etc). This was cost prohibitive just a few years ago. Examples: Fancy w/ color for less then 20K, Portable hand held for less then 7K Pictures say a million words.

Although I believe this is primary a spiritual battle and prayer and sacrificial giving of ones time are the best weapons, pictures are powerful. Perhaps I am idealistic, but imagine the impact if free live pictures of babies existed outside out of every abortion clinic and in every CPC center in our great country (and around the world). $100,000 per every major city in the country is not absurd or unreasonable. Every day there is real life drama played in front of abortion clinics. The villain of the story often hires mercenaries death-sorts who typically wear "pro-choice escort" screen printed on their clothing. The villain's mercenaries entire purpose is to shield the co-conspirators of the crime against their own flesh and blood from echos on the sidewalk pleading the same words as their own conscience. The moral plot drives the story. The reduction in cost and portable size makes ultrasound a practical powerful weapon in the war of conscience which is played out on real sidewalks every day. Reduction of cost and miniaturization of technology can help us compete with the horrific supply of blood money of the abortion industry (and tax dollars). The end chapter of this tragic story in America isn't written yet. Let's write it.

Thank you for saying it all so I don't have to. I once had someone cover her ears and say to me "I don't want to know" when I began to explain how partial birth abortion is done..it is so much easier to do that then to actually fight for unborn babies.

I give up!!!! I don't care what you think of Bill. I think you need to start a thread on bashing him. This is about Tiller not Bill OReilly!!! Do you not understand that? Why not stick to the subject this is about? All OReilly is doing is telling us about Dr Tiller. Why are you so upset about his phone calls and not about Dr Tiller who has killed so many helpless babies for the sum of $5000? I think that is way more important, not any silly phone calls from yrs ago.

Drugs are administered which help the uterus to contract and expel the fetus. The time from the beginning of the procedure to delivery varies greatly; at Women’s Health Care Services most women deliver in 1 to 4 hours. Following delivery and removal of the placenta, intravenous medication will continue for a short time to make certain the uterus has contracted and bleeding is controlled. In rare cases where the induction method fails or cannot be used, an extraction procedure (similar to an abortion by D&E) or a hysterotomy is performed to remove the fetus. A hysterotomy is similar to a caesarean section delivery and carries the same risks.

Too bad she wasn't a better shot. I don't like to wish bad on anyone but if anyone deserves getting shot in my book Tiller sure does. 12 hrs later he was back at work. The man should be stopped and I can't believe the people of Kansas are letting this monster get away with murder. As for using depression as his legal reason of aborting full term babies I wonder what doctors determine if the woman is really in a depressed state to warrant an abortion. Does Tiller decide this himself or is he smart enough to have another Dr make the evaluation?

I understand your anger and the thirst for justice for the innocents slain by abortionists. But I hope you will instead pray that God changes the hearts of these doctors and all who support and/or perform abortions.

Merciful and loving savior protect the innocents in the womb. Hear our cries to remove the evil of abortion from our nation. Soften the hearts of those who seek an abortion and give them hope and promise for their and their child’s future. Could you please post a thread that has to do with O'Reilly if that is your focus rather than taking away from the importance of this issue here? This has to do with Tiller and what he is doing to stop any investigation into his practices, how the newly changed political landscape in Kansas may do just that, and how to do SOMETHING to stop this kind of atrocity.
