Well the democrats have shown a willingness to retreat and the islamderthals smell blood. Better hang on tight because it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Arabic cultures and Islamic arabic cultures in particular are oriented toward continuous fighting against rivals. They will only back off when faced with overwhelming odds. Often that means a call for a "hudna" to regroup and rebuild for a future attack. Any sign of weakness encourages them to press forward for conquest...especially the ones with Islamic motivated aims for world domination.

The Democrats have been calling for a "cut and run" approach for a long time. Electing the Democrats is a sign that the American public has accepted the "cut and run" approach. The Islamic extremists see this as a victory.

Al Qaeda said they wouldn't rest until they blew up the White House. Very possible with the weak leadership of a DEMOCRAT president.

They didn't say they'd blow up the White House anytime soon. Just that they would not rest until they accomplish this goal.
