We saw them in Rome in '99.
My understanding was that they were not allowed on the interstates there and were strictly city cars.

I think you might get insurance discounts over there for bright colors, at least for safety yellow.

This thing looks like a shrunken Scion.
I think maybe they misnamed it. It should be called the Roadkill.

You can have one if you want one, but I would rather have a little more metal around me on our SUV laden streets...........

You mean over, of course.
I knew a guy that had a Lotus. He couldn't resist driving, er, creeping under, a parked trailer.

Amazing. My masculinity hasn't suffered so much, just by LOOKING at this "car", since I went hunting many moons ago in a blizzard.

They should use "In a Yugo" for the ads.
To: mdmathis6
16k? Is that what the starting price is? There was another thread a week or so ago and listed the price at about 16k. And like you, for 8-10k as a throwaway for a short commute/city dweller it's a deal. At 16k, it's simply not worth it.

I wish the "Mythbuster" guys had done this test -- they would have done a better job, by using their dummies in the vehicles.
To: Red Badger
That car with a diesel engine would be a GREAT third car for weekend errands etc.
Perhaps a great commuter car if you didn't have to navigate a freeway...
