Glad you figured it out. As they say, 'come on in, the water's fine'.

Got a better one. I joined this wonderful Free Republic in 2000 and I have never posted a thread. Been afraid I didn't know how or someone would make fun. Hey, am I lacking confidence or what? ha! You did good.

Why would he do that? He just beat the pants off the republicans, he is a hero to the democrats and loony left, he has no reason to leave. He likes the spot light to much to leave in his moment of glory.

We absolutely MUST find a way to compete or bypass the MSM to get the truth out. If we don't, we are dead in the water.

Makes perfect sense.

The Democrat "victory" was not the victory that an organized campaign with solid plans and good sellable policies would have produced.

The Democrats should have had a clean sweep in the House and the Conservative initiatives on the ballots should have lost but they had no plan and no message. They have power because Republicans lost; not because they won.

Because the Clintons are in control now.

I believe every RED blooded republican needs to register as a democrat to be able to vote in the primaries. I think that is where we are more likely to defeat her.

That would be triangulation and wouldn't it be funny if we killed her campaign with her own method.

He licked us good? You have it a little wrong. Do you lose a game when some of your players do not show up because they are mad at the coach? No. You forfeit.

Lets give the devil his due.

He spotted our weaknesses and exploited them.

I am not saying he was the sole reason we loss, but he left the DNC with the Democrats controlling both Houses of Congress.

I think you would say that he was successful.

I hope our next RNC chairman can do likewise.

Actually, I give Dean, along with Emmanuel, a lot of the credit for winning. Everyone laughed a few years ago when Dean suggested that his party go after the Confederate flag, pickup truck driving, rural folk. Well, his party recruited ostensibly pro-gun social conservatives and they won. Yes, corupt Republicans contributed, but Dean and company provided viable alternatives that otherwise would not have been there.

He probably knows better than anyone that his moonbats are going to start having clashes with the rest of the party. He may want to get out while he's "on top" and preserve his political viability. Not much sense in hanging around and having to serve in the no-win situation of being a referee between party factions. Just a guess.

"Howard Dean is from the Moveon.org branch of the dems...Emmanuel is from the Bill Clinton triangulate and conquer branch"

Just watch, there's going to be some interesting power struggles between these factions. I bet it starts getting ugly "sooner rather than later".
