I can't help but wonder if a few thousand dead people here, a few thousand illegal aliens there, and a few more convicted felons just for good measure have handed us this nightmare of a congress.
...I truly believe that no one should be permitted to vote, in any election, without first passing a basic examination concerning that election...nothing much, just a couple blurbs on the subject, to indicate some glimmer of knowledge of the consequences of their actions...can you just imagine the squeals from the Dems over such a notion...public education and college academe would become disenfrachised overnight...one is permitted to dream, right...?
