Lieberman is great on international issues/war issues, and in the past, he's been a little less horrid on issues like school choice and social security. But he's back to being horrible on those again, and he's horrible on every single other issue. You've got that right. How else could he win in the Peoples Republic of Connecticut?
Sanders and Lieberman caucus with the Democrats.
I wonder how Lieberman feels about the confirmation of John Bolton ?
AMEN!
I found enlightening the following comment by Noel Sheppard, contributing writer to the American Thinker:
"the Democrats better not rest on their laurels, or allow the celebration to go on too long, for the electorate has made it very clear that they expect performance from their leaders, and they expect it now. If we are to glean anything from Tuesday's results, it is this."
If you guys want a laugh, go to Daily Kos. They are so depressed that Lieberman won because they think he will save Bush from all kinds of bad Senate votes.

Liberals tend to speak slowly so that Americans can understand exactly what it is "...that Americans must learn."
I think they are laughing. The successfully primaried Lieberman, which scared every other democrat into being kind to them, and didn't pay for it at the ballot box because they still have their liberal senator from Connectircutt, because republicans supported him.
Didn't McCain get a rating of 96 from the ACU?
The two independents will vote with the Democrats to organize the Senate.
How odd- I never noticed that before. Collins' name plaque says "Sen. Collins". Joe's says "Mr Liberman" How very odd.
Senator Lieberman should caucus with the Republicans...
Yeah, LOL, this ought to be good! Joe's still wearing Harry's knife in his back, and here comes Harry, asking for his vote!
If I were Dick Cheney, I'd be in Joe Lieberman's office right this minute offering him the same committee, plus one more. (How about Senate Finance, Joe? Armed Services? Judiciary? -- Let's brown off Joe Biden, LOL!)
Sorry but those invitations were already sent out and delivered on Nov. 7th 2006.
No THANK you.
If another Bush ever runs for national office, I'm moving to France - with Alec Baldwin.
No more Bushes, no more 'compassionate' conservatives, no more 'moderates', no more fence straddling Nancy boys, no more RINO's. And no more big tent pandering to 'minority voting blocs' (worked great, right Rove (jerk weed)).
The GOP better get digging through Genealogy.com for Attila's the Hun's next of kin, and stat.

I agree with no more Bush's as much as I agree with no more Clintons.
However, I would have like to have seen Jeb run for Senate. We would still control it, if he had.
Perhaps Joe believes he can make the best impact on the Homeland Security Committee (goodness knows DHS needs help) but I would prefer to have him as Chair of Armed Services. Perhaps the Democrats want to keep him off such a high profile committee.
