I don't disagree that some of these new "blue dogs" are actually "blue Bolshevik wolves in sheep's clothing", nor do I believe that the Left-Wing Leadership won't work some deals (such as the old trick of evenly apportioning the number of times the "blue dogs" have to vote for leftist initiatives, so they can still hang on to some "conservative" cred), but just ask yourself: when was the last time that Dorgan, Kent Conrad, Max Baucas and a number of other "go along to get along" Red State Dems faced serious opposition?
