Military, absentee...?
Pelosi's fault.
Hang in there JD. Hope they didn't get sent over the border.
Here in the 8th district, there were 210,000 votes. In Hayworth's district (5th), there have only been 140,000 voted counted so far.
According to today's Arizona Daily Star (Tucson), there are 341,000 ballots statewide (60,000 in Pima County) that have yet to be counted.
It's hard to understand how they are certain their marriage amendment lost if they haven't counted a quarter-million ballots yet.
It would be a shame if in the end he loses. Hayworth is a GREAT spokesman for the party.
Hey JD, call Jack Abramhoff...those 250K votes are all owned by the Navaho and Apache reservations there in Arizonia and Jack has connections there. You know Jack, don't you, he's the real reason you got defeated!
how on earth could there be that many still out?????
Many people do not realize that voting via absentee is very popular here.
As you can tell by the numbers, a large number vote in the privacy of their own homes and send the ballot via USPS.
That is what these are--the mail-ins that are counted last.
Some of those are probably provisional ballots. If you didn't bring any ID when you voted, you had to vote a provisional ballot. Then you have to show them your ID within 5 days before they'll count your vote.
There is almost no way this will turn around.
Although, the D might well end up with less then 50% of the vote. In which case, we can thank the LIBERTARIAN JACKASS for costing us the election.

Supporters of more relaxed policies on illegal immigration count among the casualties of the Democratic victory at least 11 House members who had opposed giving illegal immigrants an opportunity to gain legal residency and, ultimately, citizenship.Representative J. D. Hayworth published a book on immigration titled Whatever It Takes and campaigned heavily on a platform of sealing the border and ejecting illegal immigrants.
Although Mr. Hayworth, a six-term Republican from the suburbs of Phoenix, has not conceded defeat, unofficial tallies indicate that he has lost his seat by four percentage points to a Democrat, Harry Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell, who is a former mayor of Tempe, had said that a path to citizenship made sense in some cases.
Also in Arizona, a self-described Minuteman border vigilante, Randy Graf, a Republican seeking an open seat near the border, was soundly defeated by Gabrielle Giffords, a Democrat willing to consider citizenship for some illegal immigrants.
Any Nov. 13 update on this?
Monday Update, doesn't look good, but we don't know where these ballots are coming from. He was definitely right about there being a lot of extra votes, we are up over 25,000 votes from the Tuesday results of about 140,000. But he's not making up ground that fast.
Hayworth: 82,485 46.8%
Mitchell: 88,302 50.1%
Severin: 5,578
Total: 176,365
