Good luck!

The Dems want a socialist, communist, liberal to get along with the rest of the UN and Europe.

This was a bold move.

Can't President Bush appoint him again during the recess if Congress doesn't act?

There wont be any suspense on this, as everyone will soon discover.

Bolton will be confirmed, and quickly. Bush traded Rummy for Bolton, and it has been planned for some time.

Rumsfeld, you are a patriot of the first order.

Bolton is worth fighting for. I cannot see how the RATS can discunt his abilities over the past year with a straight face.

Uhh, just to clarify.....this nomination goes to the existing Senate in the "lame duck" sesion between now and the end of the year, right? So it will be the current cast of characters, not the new one?

I assume since Bolton was a recess appointment, the appointment expires at the end of this Congress?

Can they put this up in December, or will they wait until January?

He has shown to be not only competent but a very valuable assest to this country. If they won't approve, Bush better have the huevos to do another recess appointment of him. That will send a message just as Reagan did when he fired the air traffic controllers.

I wouldn't be surprised if the real Dem strategy is this: Dems will pretend to advance changes...but will actually do nothing. The MSM will begin to say the economy is looking good and Iraq is getting better...thanks to Dems. In other words, the only thing that changes will be MSM coverage.

Woudn't it be nice if Bush put on a display of the "Power of the Presidency?"

"Oversight" doesn't mean "Obstruct."
