I mean, he hit 6 states in the final day of his whirlwind trip.

And to think he did all that while at the same time purposefully working so the dems would take control of Congress so they would pass his immigration plan --- or so says Michael Weiner!

The point to which I strongly objected was the implication that President Bush would 'pull out of Iraq' because of pressure from doofus Pelosi......that he was of such weak character that he would abandon our troops and the entire vision of freedom in the ME just because of a Democrat Congress (with a very slim majority).

I'm sorry, but it was nonsense.

His integrity I have seen at work for six years. He does what he believes in, and doesn't succumb to pressure from anyone to do what he believes is wrong.

As for the guestworker program, that's what he believes will best stop the flow of illegals. I disagree.

And I never, ever 'professed blind support' for President Bush.

The fact that you are able to lie through your teeth, though anonymously, on an Internet forum belies your claim to integrity.

As I said before, it's not a tough call as to whether to trust a man of proven character......President Bush....... or you.

You lose, hands down. No contest. And you've just made it even more clear that you're not even in his league.

Bush didn't work his tail off to elect Democrats. If you want to blame anyone for electing Democrats, it's the Libertarians and their goofy candidates, like Mr. Colloidal Blue himself, Stan Jones.

Actually, since I am consistent in my beliefs, a faithful husband, a terrific father, and a hard worker, I am in "Bush's League". Throw in the fact my family was poor when I was growing up, heck, I may even up the ante. A 'C' student at Yale was never a possibility for me, yet still I admire the man immensely.

What I do know is this. You defend a man you've never met, and based on your posts, you never challenge him. I'll take my 'integrity' over yours any day of the week, ma'am.

Have a great day!

Well, reading is not your forte, is it mr black label beer?

You can say anything you want about yourself, but all I have to go on is what you post on this forum, and it is inconsistent with integrity. You lie.

And I have told you that I have consistently challenged the President's guest worker program, but I'm not arrogant enough to believe my opinion is the only one and that anyone who disagrees with it lacks integrity, as you obviously do.

Oh......and I'm so sorry that you're jealous of the President's wealth and education. Makes you sound a lot like a class envying liberal, and I don't carry on conversations with liberals, so bye bye......

You lie.

Where did I lie?

LIAR. Like I said, I question YOUR integrity, ma'am. If you mean I am lying by misinterpreting your posts, then you yourself are guilty of the same sor of LYING.

LIAR

I think that the man who threw Rumsfeld and Bolton - two of his most trusted, loyal, and capable friends and colleges - to the wolves in a desperate and self-serving attempt to save his own legacy is the one devoid of integrity. I'd say he is not in Carling's league.

I'd like to see Bolton take a run at the presidency. Imagine him in the early debates, say, New Hampshire. The Dems always try to destroy the best Republicans early on. Let the public see the man that the libs would not let the Senate vote up or down.

And yes leave the ambassadorship unfilled. There may be a similar deal with the SCOTUS--if Stevens and Ginsberg (or whoever) must leave and the Dims won't approve the likes of Janet Rogers Brown then we can make do with a smaller court for a while.

You know what TX Federalist. I can't disagree with your statement, although I think Bush does have integrity. That said, it's hard to argue with your post. I'd never throw my loyal friends out the door because it was popular.

What say you, BushBot?

You know, I wrestle with the thought myself. I always thought of him as a principled man who is in a little over his head. He can grasp the simple moral issues of good vs. evil and right vs. wrong - which is more than can be said for most politicians. But when he tries to master the art of politics, we get a trillion dollar entitlement program, Harriet Myers, and the forced resignation of two of his most important staff members.

You're probably right about his integrety. The last few days have just made me angry.

A bold move would be to make a recess appointment to the Supreme Court. Can you imagine? Clinton would have had the stones to do it to the Republicans if we shot down Breyer. I wish the Republicans would do the same.

I'm angry too. And I don't need an idealist/Utopian like ohioWfan calling me out as being the problem. I want to figure out how to fix this. Our side is right, darn it! Why can't people see this (liberal media organ aside)?

I agree that President Bush is a man of solid integrity. In fact, yesterday Rumsfeld said that people don't have any idea what a good man George W. Bush truly is. Rumsfeld has asked repeatedly to resign and Bush has rejected his resignation over and over. Bush is a man's man. He's not a weenie. Not a cry baby. He doesn't run away from his friends like the Republicans ran away from him. He's LOYAL, perhaps to a fault. There's not a lying bone in his body. He understands that he answers to the Author of history and that history is not in his hands.

The guest worker program is practical. He knows it because he is from Texas. California, Texas, et al must have a guest worker program. There is nobody else to do the labor in the orchards, farms and on the roofs. Of course, it needs to be preceded by tight border security.

Excellent point about having a smaller supreme court. I like it.
