To demonstrate their intentions, they provided a video for download that included a program from the History Channel that outlined the capabilities of the U.S. Navy. Information included in the video could be used by al-Qaeda and like-minded militants to improve their capabilities against naval forces.
Information that you can find in books in a bookstore, videos, magazines, etc. Why does the US military keep allowing its officials and members to talk to anybody and everybody about their capabilities? Obviously there is a lot they don't talk about, but it's not uncommon to turn on the TV and hear somebody in the military or administration talking about things that I would think would be sensitive.
Then again, I know there is a lot they don't talk about, and it could be that they are releasing this information to lull the terrorists into acting upon it, or to intimidate other countries/organizations.

Gotta love the Falcon base "massacre" -- an ammo dump explosion that supposedly killed 300 Americans and circulated somewhat widely among leftie conspiracy circles as a "coverup." A story that was covered online by Fox, CNN, etc, but only as a sideline story.
Problem with it, as spectacular as the fireworks were, the effect on personnel was minimal. Logic along would tell anyone that 300+ soldiers don't spend time sitting on top of live munitions.
Nice to see that the Jihadi media is taking cues from American moonbat conspiratorialists in its assessment of the war effort.
