Perhaps, I should have said 'shouldn't'. Impeachment should be for high crimes etc. Impeaching a President because you disagree with him is stupid especially if he is in your own party. We will not always agree on everthing. Also, if you believe the Dems will impeach the Pres on the open borders issue, think again. They want open borders. They will impeach him on the Iraq war and by the time they are finished investigating every Republican, we will be lucky to win dog catcher in 2008. For those of you who stayed home because of the immigration issue, well you cut off your nose to spite your face. You got rid of people who were the only ones standing against amnesty- House Republicans.
But you can't half-impeach on one charge and other-half-impeach on another. That's like finding someone half guilty of theft and half guilty of forgery and sending them to jail for that.
