How ironic. Voters in Indiana put in some new Democrats and the first thing they're going to be asked to do is gut Eli Lilly and other major pharmaceutical and medical firms which are now the major underpinning of the state economy.
Will they do it, or will they cut their guts out?
Bet they go along with the Nancy woman and screw the people.

One way Democrats can assert themselves is by spoiling the prospects for renewal of President Bush's tax cuts, said Kevin Hassett, the director of economic policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute and an adviser to President Bush's 2004 re-election campaign.I talk to people at work and they don't even know they are paying less taxes to the feds. They all think the tax cuts went to the rich. When I ask them their effective tax rate and whether it's gone up or down over the last three years they give me this stupid look.

basically, this is the same kind of fear we had back when the Clintonistas arranged the election in the early 90's ....remember, the Rats had all both houses then too...
it was gun confiscating and it was universal health healthcare....it was a lot of things....
IIRC....the Pubs actually grew some testicles back then......in the long run, it made the Pubs stronger....
we'll see what the present day Pubs can do.....
