I think you meant to address that to me, but look where "no abortion litmus tests" have gotten us. 33 years of murdered children under Republican appointed justices. Your strategy seems to be working extraordinarily. /sarc

The last 33 years? Nixon nominated Rehnquist in '71 when the process was totally different than it has become. In '86 Reagan put him up for Chief Justice and it was after this that the process became abominable with the nomination by Reagan of Robert Bork in 1987 while the Dems held the senate with 55 seats. And so borking became the norm for the majority dems.

Kennedy [1988] and Souter [1990] were nominated by Reagan and Bush 1 again while the democrats, not republicans, held the senate with 55 seat majority. Clarence Thomas was nominated by Bush 1 and pushed through confirmation in the Dem senate only with the huge outpouring of outrage by the public for how he was treated by those same dems. Ginsberg and Breyer were nominated by Clinton while the dems held the senate

When the conservatives finally organized enough and worked hard enough to get a Repubican Senate, the nominees became such as Alito and Roberts who have been confirmed, plus other conservative justices for lower courts. Guess the moderates somehow didn't show up to vote against? And now, with the senate loss just what happens to all those conservative justices who are sitting in committee?
