A disgrace to the uniform.

How could they be? They weren't wearing it.

You're totally missing the point. At a time when the dhimmicrats are doing everything to discredit our military, that last thing we need are idiots that are making their job easier. This is not a minor thing, it's a black eye. If it were me they would all go to an Article 15 for for violating the UCMJ Article 134-27 "Indecent Exposure".

Soldiers are supposed to set the standard. These tarts most definately took a crap on the standard.

Maybe I'm just an old school hard-ass senior NCO but I take the honor and professionalism of this job very seriously and I have zero tolerance for people that sully our image through stupid shit like this.

This is just one of the very good reasons that we would oppose any re-institution of military conscription (draft), and would fight tooth and nail against any effort to draft our daughters.

I served in the military for 6-1/2 years, and I served in the same units with females. It is my observation that the overwhelming majority of women who want to join the military enlisted ranks have a propensity to very loose moral behavior. This observation is backed up by many female members of the military who have published books and articles on the subject.

Okay, women may enlist. That has been established as their right. And many of them are serving in combat or hostile fire environments, even though my LYING Republican congressman tried to convince me that they are not (So I asked him to tell me how Duckworth lost her legs! And I still voted for him). But military planners are preparing the psych of the Nation to accept women in combat and to accept drafting women along with men.

There will be a re-institution of the military draft, and it wouldn't surprise me if it were to take place soon under the newly-elected, Democrat-controlled Congress.

How many of you out there would allow a conscription of your daughters and young wives?

Not this man!

Commended for what? Contributing to the further degradation of the morals of our fighting forces?

With all due respect, that's a ridiculous comment. You act as if the guys are all innocent or something.

The profession of arms in this country attracts brave, high-spirited young people of both sexes, and that's something for which we should give thanks -- not insults.

My observation still stands. Very many of the men were vulgar, filthy-mouthed whoremongers, and 90% of the women in our unit were in their beds. AND THAT WAS THE CASE WHETHER YOU LIKE IT, OR BELIEVE IT, OR NOT! And the book (among several others we have read in our home), LOVE MY RIFLE MORE THAN YOU, written by a female intelligence officer serving in a combat zone in Iraq - herself kicking in doors in hot fire zones - testifies of the prolific practice of the women in her unit and many other units giving themselves SEXUALLY to the men in those units.
I was, for a short time, before being moved to a higher level planning section, the NCOIC of my squadron section. I found myself in three long evening sessions, with my whole section having to answer for the "equal opportunity" problems in the section !!! And when the problems were spilled out by the EOC officers, it boiled down to problems between women who were sleeping with airman who were not their husbands, and other women (who had invited sexual attentions) being passed by. And when I privately conferred with the EOC people, I was informed, in no uncertain terms, that this kind of behavior, and the ridiculous appeal to EOC in sex related cases were rampant throughout the Air Force and the armed services in general. And that was prior to the Air Force allowing co-ed dormitories. Imagine that!
So, what do you call the incident of these women posing in the nude, if it is not just another illustration of the same thing? I get the idea that you don't even believe that it is wrong. And if it is wrong, you ought to state so, and agree that such women should be PUT OUT of the military, along with any males who encourage such.

My point: I don't want any movement in this country toward either forcing or intimidating MY daughters, or my son's daughters, or my daughter's daughters to serve in that environment. And there are millions of us still who believe the same. We pro-actively protect our children and young people from such influences.

Damn, it sure was fun while it lasted, too! Nothing like a little underway boinkie boinkie in the turtleback of a USCG 44'! WOOT!

You seem worked up about this, my friend. That's okay. We're all free to care about whatever issues we want.

I object to anyone who delivers a insult to American troops -- whether male or female. But other than that, this little incident isn't worth an argument. I mainly posted it here for its value as humor.

I'll bet you never went to college and neer spent any time in a college dorm and are unaware of how 18 to 22 year-olds act when living together.

You would lose the bet!

I was in the US Air Force at age 17 and lived in Air Force dormitories both in the US and in Korea, and one Army dormitory during some special training. I am a college graduate with three college degrees, and I know what college life is about.

So, you are of the liberal, immoral, modernist, perverted, mind set that teaches that because people are wicked that that makes it right and normal, and I should be expected to accept having my children and grandchildren exposed to it. And in the context of the string this began in, and in which my remarks began in, you would think it just fine for Selective Service to be given the green light one of these days to force my daughters and granddaughters into those military dormitories via conscription.

And there are thousands of American young people in top quality colleges where there are NO males ever in female dorms, NO females ever in male dorms, NO orgies, adult-chaparoned dating only, parental rules enforced by the college, and young ladies later go to the marriage altar pure. So, your view of college life must be limited to the perverse. Your view is common, but not normal. "Common" and "normal" are not synonyms.

This is all part of the downward spiral that this nation is in, wherein people who claim to be conservatives only see the benefit of conservative economics, but are, many of them, moral beasts.

"I object to anyone who delivers a insult to American troops -- whether male or female."

Do you mean to say that a member of the US Armed Services is always to be immune from any rebuke as to his/her character or other infractions of sound behavior as one who represents our nation?

Probably EVERY day, somewhere, on some military installation, a court martial is being carried out. We have a Uniform Code of Military Justice. Would you say that it "delivers an insult" for officers to prosecute any armed forces member for infractions of the UCMJ? Shouldn't they be immune, simply because they are military personnel?

Many things that take place in dormitories on US military installations are still violations of the UCMJ, and they are prohibited by law for very good reasons. These things include vulgarity in certain contexts, lewdness, sexual pandering, and much of what is never prosecuted.

But, like others who have responded to my remarks, you have missed the most important, although the largest part of them. We are not telling military people how to act or not to act. We are stating that we must protect OUR OWN children from what we know to be the life-style in military dormitories in general, many of them now co-ed, and from the influence of women like those who posed nude, apparently without any shame, and we would fight tooth and nail against all attempts to conscript our females.

Obviously, there are few "conservatives" who would give a rip about the morality and purity of our daughters, or about families who teach moral purity to their children. Certainly we have seen hundreds of statements on Free Republic which indicate that the kind of "conservatism" represented here is, more often than not, only economic conservatism, but closer to Libertarian libertine-ism. This, of course, would offer no protection to my children or grandchildren.

Okay, you convinced me -- we shouldn't draft women.

Sheesh.
