This is just crossing my desk now; nothing follows yet. According to some sources this is the subject of the noon presser.
Wrong again...what else is new?
Got THAT right...
When the terrorists start attacking us again like they did under Clinton, I hope they choose the pro-terrorist liberal areas first. It'll give the rest of us a chance to prepare.
by a 2% change of seats...
I was thinking the same thing! LOL
There's nothing factual about the utter success that is Iraq and Afghanistan. Then again, some of us are aware how difficult combatting terrorism is, while the others are the ones shrieking "failure! failure!"
I think Zell would be a fine SecDef.
I think he resigned for the good of the country. We don't need two years of congressional inquiry, someone had to be Sacrificed. If they had knocked him off do you really think it would have stopped there. Who would have been next Cheney?
You want me to believe that a bunch of commie pacifist pukes know what is better for our security ?
the CT governor is a republican, I think..
Oh, Shi'ite! RUMSFELD: "Take this job and shove it!"
Rummy has been required to put up with all sorts of sh!t from all sides.
What a sad day.
Ok, so did Bush jusst admit he lied? And if so, is Cheney on the chopping block as well? Jebus, this is a train wreck.
It isn't a total mess. Things were looking up. Now it will become a mess because the rats' victory IS the terrorists' victory. They will really become emboldened.
Same thing happened in Spain, Italy and Great Britain. They will see as weak now. If we get hit again I blame the traitorous press more than anyone.
Watch Rummy start talking crap about how Bush wasn't allowing him to run the war as it should be in a new book coming out soon (with a multi million dollar advance for Rummy).
That has always been the plan. The Iraqis are farther along to then we have been led to believe.
Looks like new leadership but the same direction.
BS BS BS BS...
In spite of the Dems, the media will keep a steady far left drumbeat going until the Dems defund the war. They want to be right about Iraq as they thought they were about Vietnam
I thought we'd wait at least a couple of weeks before we started caving in to the left-wing nuts. Can't see Regean doing anything like this.
Age isn't the issue. What Sec Rumsfeld did was throw out the WWII model of warfare and try to move our military into a new era. He was fought every single step of the way by the left, which loathes the military, and by republicans pandering to the left.
