The tax cuts are gone (will be a tax increase in 2010). The shame of that is that Bush couldn't even get them made permanent with a Republican congress.

The shame of that is that Bush couldn't even get them made permanent with a Republican congress. It took 60 votes to waive those budget rules the Senate has. We never get could them. It was either take 10 years or not get them at all. So he took 10 years. It's just sad that the d*mn Congress won't extend them, because without action you're entirely right. Charley Rangel has already bragged about more "fairness" for the POOOOOOORR people in society...
