I'm standing by President Bush because he espouses my own beliefs and values for myself and for my country.
LOL! No caps! No respect! Whenever I think of her as speaker, my stomach churns. :)
Lott is an interesting study, however. He made an appearance on the Broken Government program on CNN (I watched ten minutes tops) and said he was very upset that Frist worked to overthrow Tom Daschel, that it was "unseemly" for the leader of the senate to work against the leader in the opposition party. That was a side of Trent Lott I didn't like seeing...
which page?
no, he is saying that this cooperation agenda the administration is going to pursue, is decoupled from the strategy for 2008. and he's right. I don't see a path for victory in 2008, that goes comes along with some kind of cooperation agenda with Pelosi and Hillary.
so Rush is not going to carry water for that as it unfolds.
I still have mine!
That would be funny...especially if the only answer you gave was, "Oh, yeah? You can kiss my @ss!"
Gridlock in wartime will be deadly. Bush, and the nation, cannot afford it.
I'm sure that GWB will use his veto pen if he has to, but it will be a last resort.
"WHO is this man's friend?? I love GWBush!! And will NOT go against him the way I am hearing now"
I agree. Those that are bashing the President are acting just like the dims do to their own. The truth is the Pres
is right and has been right but yet certain members of the GOP decided to distance themselves from him all for their own political gain--but what did it get them? Mostly lost seats. That in itself made our party look weak and made the President more open for attack. They should all be ashamed of themselves.
AMEN!!!
everytime I would come out speaking conservative- people would rip me for bashing Bush.....
I wrote to Tony about it...on 10/27...
go look at the headlines that week-- and notice the difference in tone from Bush....I am not saying that Tony read my letter and saw the light...LOL!
But I am saying that Tony heard what I was saying---- either from polls, other letters, whatever......in other words.. I was not the only one feeling abandoned by the GOP......
When you are defending the War on Iraq-- and people tell you that you are at odds with President Bush-- that is NOT a good sign.......
Oh, good grief. Bolton better not be going! He's done a great job.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo!
He called himself by that name. That's who I knew back here in the 'Burgh on occasions out with the great Chuck Brinkman, radio legend from Pittsburgh.
:-)
Well the every day relentless attacks by the Democrat media and the Conservative media with NO one but his own team to stand up for him pretty much pissed that all away for nother other then gratifying the personal ego of the Bush Haters
I agree, he has had a lot working against him, sadly some from his own party. I truly believe that McCain and the like are the real reason for the demise of the party yesterday. :( How do the democrats keep their members from fighting within?
But listen to everyone here -- if you list them (ie Newt) =-- they have "baggage" (meaning the MSM will bash them)
My bucket's got a hole in it...
Looks like we might need to bring the buckets back!
Oh, I think there will be plenty of voter's remorse. It will take some time, but it will happen.
This is why we have to be ready to take advantage of this--This is why we need to clean house and get back to basic principles (the leadership).
Now that will break my heart.
