I agree 100%. I think the real danger is if the GOP looks around and says, "hey, I think we lost because we were too conservative". You can lose for being too conservative, but that is usually because you cannot articulate your message clearly and above the noise of "evil baby killer!" (though of course, it is quite honestly the libs who are the baby killers :) ).

I don't mean to sound repetitive, but once again Reagan showed us the way and did all of the heavy lifting for us. We just have to live up to being his idealogical heirs and bring forth candidates like Irey and stand behind them 100% in competitive districts.

I don't see how they can think they were too conservative, when the Democrats looked for the most conservative/moderate candidates to run.(or at least those who could appear that way)
