Now the issue is Iran and if we do have a Democrat House it will be interesting to see if those Dems are willing to defend America against the massive threat from a nuclear-armed Iran. This is a different situation in Iran because their nuclear program is not shrouded in secrecy like Iraq's nuclear program and the Euopeans are solidly on our side. So we'll see if the Dems are willing to defend this nation or whether they try to distort the Iranian threat for political gain.

I don't think the Democrats are THAT insane to turn the Iran issue into their political gain, especially since Iran has openly said they will use their nuclear capability to destroy its own enemies. Europe well knows that Iran could very soon launch a nuclear strike as far west as London, and this could set the stage for a ugly war in the Middle East that could wipe out 50% of the world's oil supply unless Iran is stopped.
