The most important thing that Republicans should learn from tonight is that America is a representative democracy.
This does NOT mean that your congress critter shares ALL your beliefs, or that he is a perfect human being, but rather that, in general, he votes the way you want him to.
It's like hiring a lawyer. You may despise his personal life and his principles, but what is important is that he WINS YOUR CASE.
Democraps could care less about the morals of their elected officials as long as they win.
Republicans could learn a lesson here...

I might give you low taxes, but otherwise what party would you be speaking of?
To: redangus
The Republican party buying off foreign governments with their Prosperity and Partnership money, USAID to build India the energy infrastructureit needed to put American tech workers out of work, the Inter-American Development Bank, billions of dollars from the US Treasury Department, billions from the USTR. Those are BRIBES and nothing less, because we asked for NOTHING in return. Why we wouldn't dare ask China to play nice, Republican and Democrat senators and congressman and cabinet members have invested too much of their retirement portfolios into communism, instead of a free America. Just THINK about what THAT means.
