I must say, at almost 7,000 posts, this thread has been a discussion based on maturity and acceptance of a bad situation. It's so nice that everyone was so cordial and not like the folks over at DU. I love FreeRepublic!

Agreed that FR is more gracious and civil than "brand D" sites when things don't go as desired. In the past three elections, the leftist hangouts have been vitriolic in their hatred for the political opposition when they lost, but here it's almost entirely a mature acceptance of reality and a determination to make the best of it.
