This is what happens when an administration for years lets the media define/spin almost every issue. I can't tell you how many ignorant, completely misinformed idiots I had to listen to while in line today. Good people in suburban Texas, but they fell for too many media myths and don't have the time to sort through all the spin or surf political chat forums to find the actual truth and facts.
Will the administration finally declare war on the media? Sorry, but 99.9% of Americans never watch the WH press briefings. You do great, but Babblefish's output is far more accurate than what I've seen the press corp daily translate from those briefings. I was at the polls, and the false translation was all most heard.
EXACTLY!!! I've been saying that for years... It's the SOLE major issue I wholeheartedly disagree with Bush on.

Bush TRIED to lead, but the Radical Left and the Dem Washington Elites refused to allow it.
The media pushed LIE AFTER LIE, and we couldn't gain traction.
An idiot behind me in line to vote today was telling the guy in front of me that he was voting Dem because "Bush Lied" about Iraq.
We KNOW this is a LIE, we HAVE THE PROOF that this is a lie, and yet the Dem Media Machine has driven this point home so often that it is now an accepted FACT...
VOTE FRAUD has become a Dem Institutional Right, but it's REPUBLICANS that are acused of "Stolen Elections"..
Republicans must grow some stones, AND FAST....
