Today's results don't help Giuliani at all. In fact, today is devastating to any chances he had in a 2008 presidential election.

Most of the Republicans who have lost today are the "moderate" types that Giuliani's supporters claim are vital for the party's success.

Santorum isn't a moderate. Neither were a lot of the other candidates.

And you don't honestly believe that the next Republican to run for Santorum's seat will run as a staunch conservative do you? They'll run to the middle so fast you're head will spin :-)
