In some precincts, they ask people after they voted who they voted for. It's voluntary, and subject to bias.

Hello,

Do not listen to ANY media tonight, watch ONLY the state web sites as the vote totals are updated. The talking heads are making it up as they go, as usual.

Glad to be here, MOgirl

I still think the final tally will be much closer. The east coast of the state is pretty damn liberal.

They still haven't added my county to that total - McCaskill is up 58-38 here (St. Joseph).

(I know they haven't added us in yet, because Sam Graves' totals aren't on the MO home page).

Sure hope the rural counties can pick us up.

Chelsea Clinton runs into voting problems
NEW YORK (CNN) -- A famous political name does not guarantee hassle-free voting, as former "first daughter" Chelsea Clinton discovered Tuesday.

She turned up shortly after 6 a.m. at her polling site on West 20th Street -- in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan -- only to be told her name was not in the voter registration books there, a voting official said.

It turned out the registration book for her district had been mistakenly sent to the wrong location, said New York City Board of Elections Executive Director John Ravitz.

She filed an affidavit vote -- a paper ballot that allows election workers to confirm that a voter is properly registered after their vote is cast. If the voter is not registered, the vote is not accepted.

Well, I voted this morning for Charlie...pretty light turnout at my polling place.

I've kicked around Charlie over the years, but he's infinitely better than the Bolshevik who looks likely to beat him.

You may be right but I swear they called Menendez the winner and alot of us saw it.

CNN definitely projected Menendez holding NJ senate seat.

"So that station is just making up Blackwell's concession to discourage voters?"

Nope his spokesman came on just a few minutes ago and it is official yet he conceded before the polls closed.
