Yours is probably the most correct post on the election that I've seen tonight.

A single, uniting, easily delivered idea that doesn't take 5 minutes to explain to the average person of why it's good for them....

My "message" would take months (not continuously) but as a former liberal I would think it might work. Ask liberals to place into an envelope conservative predictions. Then some time later ask them to look in the envelope. They may not accept conservatives' reasoning for their predictions, but after a few times will recognize that the predictions are at least intersting to listen to.

Half of Mexico and Nicaragua is up here already. In a few years, the rest will be.

For whatever reason the MD state website results are more painfully behind in showing the actual reported results than any other state in the nation.

And we need to declare some sort of moratorium on people without the vaguest concept of MD geography or politics living in some sort of weird fantasyland where Steele is winning. MD's population is heavily concentrated in a handful of counties + Baltimore City and the Democrats are even more concentrated in just two counties (Montgomery and Prince George's) + Baltimore City.

He lost.

not true

Democrats are disappointed they did not pick up some expected seats in the House such as Pryce.

Only one House seat really went in a big way for them.

House losses were nowhere what they were hoping for in this state.

Dewine was not a good republican and Blackwell got stabbed in the back by the Republican establishment

The social rights priorities are way...way off and the voters just shoved it right in their face.

There is zero evidence that this election had anything to do with a rejection of the pro-life position or an endorsement of homosexual marriage ... or anything else related to social conservative priorities.

"Why didn't you tell them?"

Who said I didn't. If you have not kept up with current events in Ohio, the entire administration was booted. Blackwell was Sec of State while Taft was playing patty cake with Illegal coin collection money.

They hit anyone who was anywhere close to that mess. Probably the only thing that would have got Blackwell excused was to have him Cuff Taft and perk-walk him, which was not gonna happen even if it was legally possible.
