Yup. Hit until your happy if you are liberal. They recounted until Gregoire won, and then stopped. The local R party here dropped the ball big time.

They are social conservatives that bash Walmart, "Big Oil" and drug companies, and are against free trade. To the MSM, these are "conservatives".

What a shame... Melissa Hart of PA loses her House seat. I sat next to her at one of the CPAC banquets two years ago - nice, personable woman. She is... was one of the great pro-life leaders in the House. Sad...

Now it's time to fix the party. Even if it takes a sledgehammer to get the job done.

Ah, in case you missed it, the party if "fixed."

It just took a major step to the LEFT.

In the short term, I'm most worried about my wallet. Longer term, who knows what this will bring as far as the WOT, Iran's reaction, Iraq's future, etc.

Don't lose heart though. Tomorrow is a new day. The sun will rise, the breeze will blow, and conservatives will begin trying to right this ship.

We've gotta stick together and not lose our heads. ;-)

Very raw early numbers from pivotal House district 1 that Dems planned on picking up in New Mexico, looks like a horse race. I have no idea if dem or GOP areas are reporting here:

Patricia Madrid (D) 49,147 51%
Heather Wilson, incumbent (R) 48,065 49%

16% reporting.

I'm not saying Steele wins it for sure, but it's hilarious that they called this for Cardin sooooo early.

It's not hilarious. All the early Democratic calls on the Senate races were deliberately designed by the MSM to flip the House races in the midwest and west while voting was still occurring.

Bastards still playing their nasty game.

That's the difference between the GOP and the Rats, the Rats know how to keep their guys in line, goes back to the LBJ days when he was Senate Majority Leader. We haven't had a Senate Majority Leader with any balls.

I think that the dems had a really good GOTV this year. In my district, (D) Altmire just beat incumbent (R) Hart. This is a huge upset. Everyone I spoke to today said that the lines were the longest ever at the polls in this district, which is conservative dem. For instance, I am usually voter 10-20..this year I was 164. Same for my wife, and the inlaws.

I think that the dems have learned something from the trouncing over the past few elections.

Kinky needs to come see Lucy. He won't concede! He says he may have very few votes, but he's a winner, because he bet on Joe Leiberman and won $8,000.
