Anyone take any solace in the fact that the democrats have to run conservatives in order to win??

not me. Because who do you think these so called 'conservative demonrats' are going to vote with once they are in office?

and now fox just showed that Corker is well ahead of Ford with 3 percent reporting....but for some reason they can't call that race though...

My view is that FL is hardly blue at all. Other than Clinton no Dims has recently won the presidential race. Other than Nelson, they have no statewide Dim office holders.

PA is more blue than FL, but I think it was stolen from Bush in Philly in 2004. Until January it has two GOP senators.

He had so many "true conservatives" holding a grudge against him; I bet they voted against him.
Havings slit their throats may they choke slowly on their blood.

I'm sad about Rick Santorum too. He is the best Senator we have.

Cabinet post for Santorum. Sec. of Education?

That the Department of Education still exists, with a budget that has increased from 26 billion in FY 1995 when the Republicans took Congress to 54 billion in 2007 tells you all that you need to know about what's happening tonight.

No surprise in CNN calling it for Pence.

If things continue down this path, I support him for minority leader.

I do.

I think the conserv dems who win may fracture the grip the Pelosi's have on the party.

They won't be reelected if they act like clones of the radical dems.

Not a lost seat. He will be a Dem as far as control of the Senate is concerned.

once actual voting results start coming in, they compare the ratios there to past voting patterns, and project ahead. so they need just a sampling of precincts to project.
