Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
I heard that they ran out of ballots in Joplin and were having to xerox them off!
One big thread and I'm not sure what it is all about yet, but for what it's worth, the news in Cleveland, Ohio just announced that a judge is allowing 16 precincts to stay open until 9:00 because 4 precincts were late opening and a few others had trouble getting their machines started ... so 16 can stay open. He thinks that's fair. They said that means that no votes can be counted in Ohio until after the polls close at 9:00 in Cleveland.
I heard earlier in the day that Democrat turnout in Cleveland was way down. They must be rounding people up this evening to go vote!
Like Johnny Appleseed, I have traveled far and wide, sprinkling links upon the threads.
wabc radio.
with 3% in .. FNC calling Mendeze wins NJ
They use the vote in key precincts that supposedly reflect how the vote over the state will work.
It doesn't always work, particularly if the elections are close, but they have it down to a pretty fine art now.
OK, here's the one live thread, but the others will stay up as well.
What we tried here was to organize the returns by poll closing times. This got to be a problem right out of the gate with FL (and other states) being in two different time zones.
We were in agreement with many of you that one big thread was very difficult to follow and dozens of little ones were just as bad.
So. here's the one live thread and the others are there for those that want to follow certain races more closely. Divide yourself up as you see fit and let's move forward.

I have nothing but disgust for Casey, his father was a great man, he is an insult to his father's legacy.
with 3% in....
This loss is probably due more to voters going against the Republicans because of our esteemed governor (Taft) and a scandal involving the state Workers' Comp Fund.
The whole Republican ticket will suffer and all statewide offices could go Rat.
Also, factor in that Ohio was basically 50/50 in '04 and we end up with major losses.
Taft was a mistake from Day 1, IMO.
Menendez R or D?
this is so sad. I really like Rick Santorum
MENENDUNCE. Ughh..
So did Fox with 3% in - what is that?
I knew Santorum was going down, but still it is sad to see. PA voted for a name. I hope they enjoy having a name as Senator, because the man it belongs to will prove not up to it.
Polls show us leading the senate by 10 seats at present
Anybody have the total votes for KY 3 in '04?
Can Anne make up 3006 votes?
I'm sick about Rick.
He had so many "true conservatives" holding a grudge against him; I bet they voted against him.
