The [Bush] GOP illegal immigration policy produced a large headwind that ALL gop candidates had to contend with. It affected those that were in close races the most. I really don't know how else to explain it to you.

I think I follow the logic of tonight. If Bush had more closely followed the single issue "fence it now" boat, then we could have lost even MORE seats in the house!

I'll tell you one thing --- it sure looks like the "true conservatives" are losing in border states. I think people need to wake the hell up before election '08 --- it might boil down to a far leftie like Hillary against a McCain or Rudy Guiliani and we cannot afford a Hillary.

hell I'll get flamed but I do not believe to this very second that enough voters are so pissed at Bush this many incumbants were booted. More so, who actually WAS booted.........I smell fraud in electronics and won't mention it again. I am on record however.
