Looking at the numbers, I can.

He probably saw the numbers long before anyone else did being that he is the SecState. He's going to lose by something around 400,000-500,000 votes.

Well, I guess almost everyone here has decided to concede the whole Congress to the Democrats based on the networks jumping over themselves to call a few races. It ain't over till the fat lady sings, ya know.

He would not win running as a Republican in Ohio - maybe last time, but not this time.
He should have taken on Taft in the primary back in 2002.

if someone is up by 10 percent, why does fox call them the loser? i don't understand.???????????????????????

Because they are projecting based on what precincts' results have come in... If they realize that the remaining precincts are so heavily against the candidate that the 10% lead likely won't be enough to overcome later votes, then they predict the loss.

I've been avoiding the news all day. I just peeked and it seems that Lampson is beating Shelley Sekula-Gibbs in my district [22]? Ugh.

I'm from Michigan and all my family is there. It looks like that [expletive] Granholm is winning. How stupid can people be? Oh yeah, they are the same ones that have had Levin there forever. High unemployment, high crime, high poverty, high drug and alcohol use... and they wonder why? Stupid.

Makes me sick. Sick, sick, sick.

Is there any good news tonight? I see Corker is leading Ford in Tennessee, so that's good.

I would also say Gang of 14 hurt Dewine. Blackwell, no doubt, was unfairly lumped in with Taft. Dewine had one more bit of baggage.

There's a Freeper here somewhere who uses the tagline "Fight like WW2, end like WW2. Fight like Nam, end like Nam."

That would be TomasUSMC, and he's exactly right.

Yes, I know CT and it's pathetic GOP very well. In '96, every candidate I voted for lost (I lived in Rocky Hill).

It was coming from Major Garrett, so the BS meter is high.

I expect GWB to go hat in hand to the Kennedy et. al., in an effort to "just get along". He has refused to stand up to leftwing democrats for 6 years giving them their "education bill" and Bush family public service awards. It was sickening. Maybe he will get some backbone but it might now be too late.

Also, LOOK at the DEMOCRATS riding "the Wave". Almost every single one ran as a CONSERVATIVE.

Right.

Dems ran conservative campaigns in mod districts, and moderate Reps didn't vote Republican. I'm trying to understand how conservatives are to blame for this. Oh, right, we're not. Because WE turned out. The ones the GOP spent two years catering to did not. Says a lot to me. It says conservatives aren't the problem. It says conservatives were right they should have acted more conservatively, since conservative campaigns won for some of these Dems. It says to me the moderates they fell over backward to reach don't have a scrap of loyalty.

The R house has done a good job, IMO.

They saved us from amnesty for illegals. Now what?
