Losing the House would be a disaster.

It just dumped in. Narrowed it, but Allen still holds a 10,000 vote lead.

Then we keep the senate, even with a loss in Montana. And maybe Steele voters lied to the exit pollsters and it ends up -3. Good news.

So, Allen has an 18,000 vote lead? ABC Radio News just said that the race was "a toss-up." D*** media.

Just remember how long they took to declare Bush the winner in any state in the eastern time zone in 2004.

For what its worth. I just returned from working as an election judge in a largely republican precinct in Central Missouri. The vote was huge. The republican vote was larger than the democrat vote but the margin was not what it is normally. Comments heard from voters in line were very negative to the Iraq War. I think that was a key factor in the election in our precinct. Its a shame that this has not been handled better than it was because the conservative movement has been hurt by the inability of this administration to handle the war. This is only one precinct so can not predict from the result there.

Have they projected Allen as the winner? I haven't caught up with everything on the thread and I'm not near the TV, at the moment. That is really good news if Allen and Lieberman have won.
