Not sure where you are getting your optimism since the raw numbers are not looking good now. Northup is trailing with 3/4 of the votes counted, and Chocola is way behind. Sodrel is only slightly behind. If one or more of these folks does not bounce back I think it will not be a good night for House races.
LS will be going to the moon after this thread.

LS You Magnificent Bastard!
Bing! Bing! Bing! Bing!
Another indicator!
Lots of Democrats woke up this year, looked at their party and said: "Who are these people?"
I'll take: Republican procreation for five hundred, Alex.
They even checked my driver's license to make sure it was not expired!!!.
What would they do if it was? I guess they would not let me vote, because it says a valid picture ID.
If it was expired, then it is not valid.
Republicans are more likely to have a valid license.
The last time I voted, there were some strange looking yahoos in line. This time there were none.
Question..with absentee ballots running at an all time high...i.e.40% in Tenn..and expectations that GOP voters are more liekly to use them..how can they make calls in some of these races?
That could be big, as I heard that thousands of GOPers had to "come back." Did they? Who knows.
Miss-
I think your idea for a 'true conservative network' is a very fine idea, very fine.
More, I'd like to see a 'true conservative' film studio too.
I don't disagree with that, but some of Torie's analysis on other threads is showing Chocola and Sodrel running behind 2004 numbers in a direct county comparison as well. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
On the other hand, have you seen any evidence of a Pelosi-promised blowout in favor of the Dems?
I sure haven't.
Wait, Einstein.
True. If all those hold up, it will be bad. We'll see if they all hold up, though.
Any "GOPer" who votes for a socialist dimocrat should be thrown out of the party.
Donald Segretti says, Hi Karl.
Carp diem?
Thanks Larry! I know I speak for a lot of FRiends here when I say how much we appreciate your wisdom and insight, and especially all your hard work!
Bingo.
Add 1-2% for the Republicans.
Alex, I'll take: "What per centage of the vote went to the Republicans because of Jon Carry?"
Ah, Torie. Our resident grinning ghoul. If there's anything negative to report about a Republican candiate, Torie's always there fus'test with the mos'test.
I can only pray you are right. So many did not understand the importance of this election. I hope they do not find out the hard way.
Then why are FOX and CNN calling it a loss for the Republicans??
