what about absentee ballots, those haven't been counted yet right?

Anybody have updated board of elections results for Tennessee, Missouri and Maryland. I want the websites themselves, not CNN or Fox rehash.

I honestly believe there has been some machinations from the media tonight. Rush said to watch out for this. They didn't want the exit polls out because they didn't want the Republicans to turn out in droves like what happened in 04.

Higher taxes equate a downturn in the economy and likely higher interest rates, they will raise fuel taxes and the cost of gasoline and my fear is the GOP will get the blame in two years' time... because Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi will harp about it being his fault day and night.

I always thought KS was pretty conservative too....this makes me so sad!

Everybody pray for a win for our troops! They are working so hard for us. How could America let them down?!It's not the people. They don't know. It's the press. If it bleeds, it leads. Our military deserves our respect, because they're fighting the terrorists and the American press (propaganda TV).

Any tax increase originating in the house will be vetoed. Period. The tax cuts that sunset in 2010 -- well there is still 2 election cycles to deal with this -- a lifetime in politics.
I lived in MN when there was a Republican Senate, Democratic House, and Independent Governor. Gridlock kept the government out of policy and pocketbooks. BTW -- continues to look like Allen is going to win.

my fear is the GOP will get the blame in two years' timeThat is their MO. They blamed Bush for Clinton's recession. Their moron base (that includes the media) will eat it up and regurgitate it for the clueless morons who don't pay attention. Bastards.

BTW -- this is a ritual purification of the republicans. We are indeed purging RINOS as it were.

The biggest reason the Dems are doing so well, is because of the large number of conservatives who did not vote this election.
They can stew in the results and will know good and well that their "protest" non-vote caused trouble beyond the benefits of mere revenge.

Wow, low voter turnout in Boyd Co (KY4) Lucas won the county, as I predicted, but didn't get the turnout he needed there. Too bad so sad for him! :)
Unless he gets really high turnout and a win in Scott and Oldham counties, Lucas has lost this one. Even wins there might not be enought to carry him over the totals from Kenton Boone and Campbell.
Torie: your correct Kenton numbers are posted now.
Good show Davis!
