THEY'RE PUNCHING FOLEY FOR JOE [Byron York]
Just talked to Todd Harris, spokesman for the Joe Negron campaign, trying to win the old Mark Foley seat in the 16th District of Florida. No reports of people having trouble with the concept of voting for Foley in order to vote for Negron, Harris says. He attributes that to heavy media coverage and discussion about the ballot in recent weeks. "At this stage, you would have had to been living under a rock or coming down from a four-week bender to not know how the ballot works in this district," Harris tells me. "I would say if there are 100 people who show up who aren't aware of it, then they probably aren't aware of Mark Foley, either

Earlier I posted how this morning i heard Miles O'Brien say that in order to vote for the Republican (did not use Negron's name) in Foley's district, that yo uhad to 'write in' the vote. This was a LIE and I sent CNN an e-mail pointing this out. I want so much for Negron to win so the rats at CNN's voter disenfranchisement does not work!

Hmmm, so REPUBLICANS in Florida know how to vote. Says something for the democRATS who voted for Buchannan even when gore was on the ballot.

If voters write in Negron instead of voting for Foley, will their votes still count?

Well since GOP voters actually know how the read, and how to be competent in terms of tactical execution of voting, this is not surprising. When we say "Floriduh" and make chad jokes we are of course referring strictly to the Dimocrap and "undecided" crowd, not GOP core! LOL!!!!

That is the one where Delay's name is on the ballot and the person does have to 'write in' her name. If she can win in those circumstances, it will be a great night for the Republicans.

Our machines wouldn't allow a write-in unless that race was specified for a write-in.
but I'm 1000 miles north

Our machines wouldn't allow a write-in unless that race was specified for a write-in. Ah. I always vote absentee so I really have no idea how the voting machines work.

Yes, but then they have to spell the name exactly right, cannot use nicknames etc... All BS reasons which would allow the DemocRATS to throw away the vote. Much better to punch Foley to vote for Joe.
To: AmericaUnited
Could they just write in Gibbs?
To: milwguy
Well, here's hoping that the Dems have a "Faith Hill" moment tomorrow morning....

That figures. I was just making sure that if anyone else heard the news report it wouldn't do too much harm.

This is going to be a fiasco. The rats will say that Foley is the ineligible winner and thus the rat candidate with the most votes wins by default.
It will be in court till '08.
A republican win is impossible.
