MADISON, Wis. -- One last celebrity plug, several pep rallies, and even more meet-and-greets marked the final day of Wisconsin campaigning Monday.
Gov. Jim Doyle, who is seeking to become the first Democrat re-elected governor in 32 years, welcomed actor Michael J. Fox to a rally in Milwaukee.
Fox, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, spoke about the governor's support for embryonic stem cell research. Fox, who had to occasionally brace himself as he twitched, referenced remarks conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh made two weeks ago accusing Fox of not taking his medication before cutting ads for Doyle.
''I recently had a run-in with a not-so-compassionate conservative,'' Fox said. ''He thinks I should wait until my symptoms go away before talking to you.''
One thing we all have in common is that we were all once embryos. I'm glad no one sacrificed me for my stem cells and I don't believe we should sacrifice other potential humans for theirs. As noble as finding a cure for diseases such as Parkinson's may be, killing embryos is not the way. Some, like Fox, believe that we should prey upon the most innocent and defenseless for our own benefit. Yet one of the strongest measures of a society is how it treats its most vulnerable and defenseless. I would think even a demonrat would understand that. How ironic they think Republicans are heartless and cruel.
I voted to dump Doyle at 7:01 AM and was number 14 in line.
It took 5 seconds to vote straight R.
When I exited there must have been 100 people in line (mostly conservatives because they were all well dressed and on their way to work just like me lol).
''I recently had a run-in with a not-so-compassionate conservative,'' Fox said. ''He thinks I should wait until my symptoms go away before talking to you.''
___________
That constitutes a "ripping", now? Since when have conservatives gotten as mushy and weak-kneed as that?
"For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul" (Matthew 16:26).
How does "not taking his medication or acting" equate to ''He thinks I should wait until my symptoms go away before talking to you.''
Only in a liberal's mind. I have lost respect for this guy.
Tom Cruise alone could give him quite a hefty donation. Maybe he can get Streisand to donate some of her concert money.
No, he thinks that you should read the legislation you support, and not get involved in political campaigns and slander an opponent.

And what does this statement have to do with embryonic stem cell research?
So I can't say here what it is that I really think of Fox's whoring his disease to get a political candidate (ANY political candidate!) elected to office, without my getting banned.
Therefore, calling him a ....in' scumbag!, will just have to suffice.
Wow, a lying pro-abortion leftist. That's . . . so . . . surprising.
Actually, it's so redundant. Twice over.
For some reason, I'm suffering from an attack of good taste and will not directly embed the following joke graphic. However, I will link to it:

That gif is friggin' hysterical!
Michael, to be honest, the Dems have more than enough twitching, spastic freaks already without having to exploit you.
Yeah, AP, I KNOW he friggin suffers from Parkinsons. I'm just going to call MJF "Mr. Disease" from now on since that seems to be his new last name.
Or perhaps, AP, you could try a new line. How about, "Fox, our current posterboy for perpetual victimhood..." And while you're at it, how about getting new lines for, Cindy "whose son died in Iraq" Sheehan and John "who was in Vietnam" Kerry. Or is that asking for too much?
Michael Fox has really shown his true "liberal" colors...
The Fox pity party is really getting old.
His career must be over. Why else go out and piss off (or on) half the country?
Since Rush just mentioned this, will post a reference to the rich couple I wrote about earlier in this thread:

"Whats particularly interesting is that almost all the spending in support of the amendment has come from one couple---Jim and Virginia Stowers, the founders of the American Century family of mutual funds. The Stowers have also donated over $1.5 billion to found and support the Stowers Institute, a first class medical research center In Kansas City that is heavily involved in stem cell research. In addition to supporting the amendment, the Stowers have also put a major planned expansion of the Institute on hold pending the outcome of the amendment vote."
